NEW DELHI: Sanjay Saraogi of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading from the Darbhanga Assembly constituency against Umesh Sahani of Vikassheel Insaan Party and Rakesh Kumar Mishra of Jan Suraaj Party.Candidates from the BJP, Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), and Plurals Party are locked in a closely fought contest in Bihar’s Darbhanga Assembly constituency, as polling concluded on November 11, 2025, in the second phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections.BJP’s Sanjay Saraogi, with 4,676 votes, is running ahead of VIP's Umesh Sahani's, having a lead of 2,271 votes.
