Meenakshi Natarajan's Rajya Sabha Nomination Cancelled Amid Allegations of Hidden Information

The nomination of Congress Rajya Sabha candidate from Madhya Pradesh, Meenakshi Natarajan, has been cancelled. The Returning Officer has cancelled her nomination. The BJP had objected to the nomination form and alleged that it contained hidden information. It was alleged that she did not disclose information about the criminal case. Meenakshi Natarajan is considered close to both Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. A petition has been filed by corporator A Srilatha in the Hyderabad Metropolitan Magistrate's Court against Meenakshi Natarajan. It is alleged that a man named Shiva Kumar Reddy molested her and was patronised by Meenakshi. The case calls for lawsuits under sections 356, 61, 45 and other sections of the BNS. The court has also issued a notice to Meenakshi, which she did not write in her affidavit. The BJP objected on this basis. Meanwhile, senior party leader, Rajya Sabha MP and lawyer Vivek Natarajan said in the post that "no confusion is being created about the criminal case registered against her."
