World Leaders Congratulate Narendra Modi on 12 Years of Governance

On the completion of 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Center, leaders from all over the world congratulated him. World leaders have praised his excellent governance, his voice for developing countries, and his vision of a strong India. In this regard, the BJP has launched a nationwide campaign to showcase the government's major achievements, reform, and welfare initiatives. Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake wrote a letter to PM Modi on 8 June 2026. He said that the record shows the unwavering trust of the people of the world's largest democracy in PM Modi. He appreciated the economic and social changes that have taken place in India and said that PM Modi's vision inspires many countries, including Sri Lanka. PM Modi visited Sri Lanka on 4-6 April 2025. During this time, he was given Sri Lanka's highest civilian honor, the Mitra Vibhushan. India was a major help in the economic crisis of 2022 under the policy of Neighborhood First. In a video message, PM Modi said that Sri Lanka's role in the economic crisis was exemplary.
