Shamli: A 28-year-old pesticide salesman was allegedly stabbed to death over gay relationship in an orchard at a village in Shamli, police said on Friday. A 70-year-old man and his 20-year-old partner have been arrested .Manish Kumar, a resident of Khedabhaun under Jhinjhana police station, was found with multiple stab wounds in a mango grove around 3pm on Thursday. His uncle Roop Singh lodged an FIR the same day.SP Narendra Pratap Singh said teams formed to crack the case zeroed in on two accused, Rajbir Singh of Unn and Sahil Kumar of Piplhera in Muzaffarnagar. "Rajbir, a homosexual, was earlier in a relationship with Manish. After the victim's marriage six months ago, Rajbir grew close to Sahil, which Manish opposed," the SP said.On the day of the murder, the two accused arrived at Manish's house and took him to the mango grove and attacked him with a knife.Manish is survived by his wife, parents and four sisters.
