IPL Mini Auction 2026 Sold and Unsold Players List: The Indian Premier League auction on Tuesday started for all 10 franchises, with 369 players available and 77 slots still to be filled across teams. The opening set of the IPL 2026 auction produced a record-breaking bid, with Kolkata Knight Riders signing Australia all-rounder Cameron Green for Rs 25.20 crore. As per league regulations, each franchise can build a squad of up to 25 players, including a maximum of eight overseas cricketers, making purse management and strategy key as the auction unfolds. Among the teams, Kolkata Knight Riders enter the auction with the largest remaining purse of Rs 64.30 crore, giving them significant flexibility during the bidding war. Close behind are Chennai Super Kings, who have Rs 43.40 crore at their disposal as they look to fine-tune a squad that is undergoing a period of transition. The remaining franchises operate with comparatively tighter budgets. Sunrisers Hyderabad hold Rs 25.50 crore, while Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals have Rs 22.95 crore and Rs 21.80 crore respectively. At the other end of the spectrum, Mumbai Indians come into the auction with just Rs 2.75 crore, limiting their room for manoeuvre. One of the headline attractions at the auction will be Australia all-rounder Cameron Green, who returns to the auction pool after last featuring for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Several franchises are expected to closely monitor bidding for impact overseas players, especially those who can offer balance across departments. The two-day auction is being staged at the Etihad Centre in Abu Dhabi and is scheduled to begin at 2:30 PM IST, setting the stage for intense bidding as teams race to complete their squads.
