AAP Announces Candidates for Surat Municipal Corporation Elections

Surat: Local body elections have begun in Gujarat. The Aam Aadmi Party has announced the names of 75 candidates out of 120 seats in the Surat Municipal Corporation. Most of them have been repeated including Payal Sakariya, Rachna Hirpara. In 2021, the Aam Aadmi Party won 27 seats in Surat. The BJP won the remaining 93 seats out of 120 seats in Surat. The Congress could not even open an account in Surat. In 2021, Payal had a property of only 1.42 lakh. She was only 22 years old at the time. She was the youngest candidate in Surat city. Payal lives with her family in Sakarta society in Pune area and has studied till 12th standard. While her property had only 92 thousand rupees and 50 thousand worth of jewellery. Payal Sakariya has worked in more than 50 albums. She has worked in both Hindi and Gujarati albums. She has also acted in a movie, but due to lockdown, the movie could not be released.
