AAP Candidate Booked for Misappropriation, Denies Allegations

In Godhra in Panchmahal district, AAP candidate Ajay Vasantani has been booked for misappropriation of around Rs 50 lakh. He is alleged to have routed the money through Angadiya. However, Ajay Vasantani, the candidate from ward number 11, has denied all allegations and said that he is completely unaware of the matter. He claimed that false allegations have been made against him so that he cannot contest the elections and that the entire matter is part of a conspiracy hatched by the BJP.
