Ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections, all political parties are trying hard to woo the Hindu vote bank. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) seems to be two steps ahead of other parties in this regard. The AAP government has decided to hold Bhajan Sandhyas across the state "one evening in the name of Lord Shiva." These programs are being held in 22 cities of the state. Programmes have already been held in Gurdaspur, Amritsar and Jalandhar. Famous bhajan singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi is the main attraction of these programs. The foundation stone of Sanatan Bhawan was laid in Ludhiana on Wednesday. Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia and Punjab AAP President Aman Arora were present on the occasion. The government says that this building is being built to cherish religious and cultural heritage. Apart from this, a grand Mata Sita and Luv-Kush temple has also been announced in Amritsar. The AAP is not alone in wooing the Hindu vote bank. BJP leaders are not directly organizing big programs, but the famous religious singer Kanhaiya Mittal is also not far behind in this operation.
