Panaji:A Mapusa court granted anticipatory bail to actor Rajdeep Naik in a case at Valpoi police station in connection with protests against TCP’s Section 39 A on piecemeal land conversion.The court stated that the prosecution did not make out a case for his custodial interrogation.A complaint was filed against him, stating that he provoked a breach of peace and insulted people in Sattari by calling them cattle.Naik told the court that he was responding to threats made by the TCP minister on a public platform in the presence of the chief minister, who is also the home minister.
