Dharchula (Pithoragarh): Bad weather has blocked the way of Adi Kailash Yatris in the border district. The administration has stopped the journey for the time being in view of the bad weather in the high Himalayan region. More than 36 passengers have been stopped at the base camp Dharchula. Permits are not being issued for the journey at the moment. According to the authorities, the journey will be resumed when the weather is favorable. In view of the safety of the passengers, the journey has been stopped at the Dharchula base camp. The safety of the passengers who have reached the highlands is also being taken care of. As of Sunday, 1674 permits have been issued for the Adi Kailash Yatra. Permits will be issued only if the weather is favorable. Pradhan Kutiyendra Singh said that more than 100 passengers have left for Kailash from Monday morning.
