AIADMK Members En masse Defect to TVK Citing Leadership Issues

At the party headquarters of TVK at Panaiyur here, over 300 members of the AIADMK officially joined the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). The leaders who joined the TVK said that they were not able to serve the people properly under the leadership of the AIADMK. Among those who joined the ruling party were former AIADMK minister Vellamandi Natarajan, state secretary of the Anna Trade Union Federation Kamalakannan, former AIADMK MLA from Mylapore Nataraj, former AIADMK minister Anandan, former AIADMK MLA from Paramakudi Sadhan Prabhakar, Tirupathur town secretary D T Kumar and over 300 others. TVK general secretary and Tamil Nadu Rural Development Minister N Anand, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Sengottaiyan and Public Works Minister Aadhava Arjunan were also present on the occasion.
