AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi Clarifies Reason for Not Participating in Opposition Protest March

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi did not participate in the opposition protest march on Tuesday over the removal of CEC Gyanesh Kumar and cancellation of the SIR. Now he has clarified the reason. Owaisi said, I did not go there because I am not part of that alliance. He said in a sarcastic manner. He said, What is my work in Begani Shaadi? Owaisi said about the Election Commission controversy,'The process of selection of the Chief Election Commissioner is wrong. It is completely in favor of the executive. This process needs to be changed. The selection of the Chief Election Commissioner is the biggest problem. It is wrong, it has to be corrected.'He added,'I also raised my voice during the SIR process in Bihar. I demand that the law of selection of the Chief Election Commissioner be changed. The selection should be led by the Chief Justice, the Prime Minister and the opposition. This SIR is wrong. I believe that the SIR was done indirectly.
