Union Home Minister Amit Shah ’s roadshow in Guwahati on Saturday, held ahead of the Assam Assembly elections, witnessed protests by fans of the late singer Zubeen Garg , who raised slogans demanding justice. A group of youths reportedly waved gamosas with “Justice for Zubeen Garg” written on them and chanted “Joi Zubeen Da” as the roadshow moved from Arya Vidyapeeth College field towards the Nepali Mandir area in the city. He is also slated to address two Vijay Sankalp Samaroh programmes in Dhekiajuli and Tihu on Sunday as part of the party’s campaign outreach.
