Andhra Pradesh: 10 Girl Students Find Hair Cut While Sleeping at School

A shocking case related to the safety of girl students has come to light from Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. In the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) located in Krishnapuram of Bheemunipatnam Mandal, 10 girls of class 9 were beheaded while sleeping at night. When the girls woke up in the morning and saw their hair cut, there was panic in the school. After the incident, there was an atmosphere of fear among the girl students and questions were raised about the security arrangements of the school. It is reported that the incident took place on the night of 16 September. Six girl students were sleeping in one room while four were sleeping in another room that night. On waking up in the morning, all the 10 girl students saw that their beards were cut. Initially, it was suspected that some unknown person entered the school premises and cut the hair of the girl students while they were sleeping. After the news of the incident came out on social media, the matter took a new turn. After getting information about the case, Srinivas, MLA of Bheemunipatnam KGB, reached the school management and Inspector Divakar Divakar Divakar and his team of police reached there.
