The company says that the ongoing tension in West Asia has increased the cost of raw materials and shipping, which has led to this decision. Asian Paints reports that the supply of raw materials has been affected due to increasing geopolitical tensions in West Asia. Along with this, the cost of sea freight has also increased. The cost of raw materials used in making paint and the cost of new home repairs has been affected the most.
