Asia's Oil Dilemma: Ignoring Sanctions for Reliable Fuel

For Asian countries like India and China, the biggest concern at the moment is to get cheap and reliable oil and gas amid the Hormuz Strait blockade. Experts say that this is why many Asian countries are buying oil ignoring Western sanctions on Russia. At the political level, there is not much concern that Russian oil is reaching Asia in large quantities through a so-called'dark fleet '. The price of Brent crude has risen above $100 per barrel since March due to the US-Israel war on Iran. However, in recent times, prices have softened and come down to around $93 per barrel due to the start of negotiations between the US and Iran. But the Hormuz Strait blockade is not reaching the rest of Middle-Eastern countries'oil and gas, which has also affected large economies like India and China. For such countries, the most important question is where they will get fuel and reliable oil from, despite the fact that Russia and the European Union have imposed new sanctions on Russia and Ukraine in the wake of the US-Israeli war on Iran.
