Assam Chief Minister Accuses Congress Leaders of Anti-National Activities

Speaking to reporters in Guwahati on Monday (August 17), Sarma said, "Be it Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi, they have taken up the mission to work against the country. They are determined to spoil the atmosphere of the country." He particularly targeted the Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson, saying that Sonia Gandhi's behaviour during the singing of Vande Mataram makes it clear what will happen to the country if the Congress comes to power. The Assam chief minister also hit out at the Congress, saying that these people are openly doing anti-national activities like instigating people to protest and creating an atmosphere of anarchy in the country. He also targeted P Chidambaram.
