Bihar Assembly Constitutes 19 Committees for Financial Year 2026-27

Bihar Assembly Committee List: In Bihar, 19 committees of the Legislative Assembly have been constituted. The list of chairmen and members of the committees has been released after the approval of the Speaker (Speaker) Prem Kumar. Among the rebel leaders who abstained from voting during the Rajya Sabha elections, Congress MLA from Manihari Manohar Prasad Singh and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA from Dhaka Faisal Rahman have also been made chairmen of one committee each. Bahubali MLA from Ekma Manoranjan Singh alias Dhumal Singh of Ekma has been made the chairman of the committee related to tourism industry, while well-known MLA from Mokama Anant Kumar Singh has been kept as a member in the Environment Protection and Pollution Control Committee. These committees of the Assembly have been formed for the financial year 2026-27. Their tenure will be from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. Speaker Prem Kumar will be the chairman of the Rules Committee of the Assembly, in which Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary have been kept as members.
