New Delhi / Patna: Whenever a government is formed, it is followed by a report by ADR (Association for Democratic Reforms) and Bihar Election Watch. Now its new report claims that half of the ministers in the Samrat Chaudhary cabinet have criminal cases. A report by Criminal Cases Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and Bihar Election Watch claims that half of the ministers in the Samrat government have criminal charges. According to the report, nearly half of the ministers inducted after the Bihar cabinet reshuffle have declared criminal cases against themselves, while 90 per cent of the ministers are crorepatis. The report analyzes self-declared affidavits of 31 out of 35 ministers, including Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, after the May 7 reshuffle of the Bihar cabinet. The affidavits submitted during the elections were submitted before the 2025 assembly and legislative council elections in Bihar. According to the report, 15 per cent of the ministers in the Samrat Chaudhary cabinet have declared criminal cases against themselves. Of these, 29 per cent are facing serious criminal cases.
