Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Kishanganj on Wednesday as part of his'Samriddhi Yatra '. He reached Kishanganj in the afternoon from Araria, where he was warmly welcomed by leaders in Thakurganj block. During the visit, he was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Chaudhary, Ministers Dr. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, Md. Zama Khan and JDU MLA Gopal Agarwal. He said that before the year 2005, the condition of Kishanganj was very pathetic. The roads from Patna to Kishanganj were bad and the traffic in the interior parts of the district was also not satisfactory. The Chief Minister mentioned the development works done by his government. He informed that new roads and bridges have been built from Patna to Kishanganj and institutions and Kishanganj has been constructed and various residential hostels and residential colonies have been constructed.
