Samrat Chaudhary, Chief Minister of Bihar, will not leave Panch Desh Ratna Marg. However, the Chief Minister's residence will remain in one Aney Marg. Former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who was already living in the CM's residence, has moved to 7 Road after vacating Ek Aney Marg. Ek Aney Marg is currently vacant. There was speculation that very soon after vacating Panch Desh Ratna Marg, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary will move to Ek Aney Marg. But according to the orders of the Building Construction Department, Samrat Chaudhary will not vacate 5 Desh Ratna Marg and he will stay in Ek Aney Marg. Shiv Ranjan, Joint Secretary cum Land Resources Officer of the Building Construction Department of the Government of Bihar, has issued a letter informing that now Panch Desh Ratna Marg will be a part of Ek Aney Marg residence. That is, both Ek Aney Marg and 5 Desh Ratna Marg residences will be made into one for the Chief Minister. The letter said that while disassembling the previous order, the residence number 5 Desh Ratna Marg Patna is temporarily marked as a part of the Chief Minister's residence.
