Bihar Experiences Heavy Rains, Relief from Heat Expected

With the monsoon activity continuing in the state, 16 districts, including Patna, are receiving heavy showers in the month of Sawan. On Sunday, the weather has become completely pleasant with heavy rains after dark clouds in the morning. The rains have brought relief from the humid heat. According to the Meteorological Center, Patna, during the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light to moderate rains in many places with the movement of clouds in the remaining districts including Patna. While, a warning has been issued for heavy and very heavy rains in five districts of the state. Heavy rains have been issued in Gopalganj and Siwan and heavy rains have been issued in Kishanganj, Supaul and West Champaran. During the next three to four days, rain activities are expected in different parts of the state with wind speeds of 30-40 kmph. After two days, the maximum temperature is predicted to fall by two to three degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, August 4, a new western disturbance is expected to form in the state.
