Allotment of government houses has once again become a topic of discussion in the politics of Bihar. The latest case is related to the house allotted to Nishant Kumar. The Bihar government has allotted the government house to Health Minister Nishant Kumar at 5 Deshratna Marg, Patna. This is the same house where Samrat Chaudhary used to live when he was the Deputy Chief Minister. Currently, after Samrat Chaudhary became the Chief Minister, the Chief Minister's house is in 1 Aney Marg. Since Samrat Chaudhary's change of residence, the bungalow at 5 Deshratna Marg was vacant, which has now been allotted to Nishant Kumar. This allotment has become a topic of discussion in the political corridors. Five Deshratna Marg bungalows used to be allotted to Deputy Chief Ministers in the past. This bungalow was once allotted to Sushil Modi, Tarkishore Prasad and Tejashwi as Deputy Chief Ministers. There is also a myth about this bungalow that none of the Deputy Chief Ministers living in this bungalow has completed their five-year term. Despite Modi, Sushil Kishore Prasad and Sushil Kumar Prasad's bungalow, Tejashwi has not been able to reach the post of Chief Minister.
