Bihar Heads to Polls as Rajya Sabha Elections Loom

Patna: Bihar will vote on Monday for the Rajya Sabha elections. Six candidates are in the fray for five seats. The NDA does not have the required votes to win the fifth seat. The RJD candidate from the opposition Grand Alliance needs the support of MLAs from the party of Owaisi and Mayawati. If the MLAs of Owaisi's AIMIM and Mayawati's BSP go to the Mahagathbandhan camp to support the RJD candidate Amrendra Dhari Singh, they will have a say. Tejashwi Yadav has called a special meeting at his residence on Sunday, March 15. Today's meeting may be a super Sunday of the'strategy'of the Mahagathbandhan. The MLAs of the Mahagathbandhan will gather at Tejashwi's residence. On Sunday, the MLAs of all the opposition parties will have a lesson to vote and ensure the victory of the candidate. Everyone will be given the voting information so that even a bad vote will not be cast.
