Bihar Hit by Unseasonal Heavy Rains, Thunderstorms, Leaving 12 Dead

East Champaran: Unseasonal heavy rains, thunderstorms and lightning have wreaked havoc in several parts of Bihar on Monday. A total of 12 people have been confirmed dead so far. The state government and the district administration are closely monitoring the situation. There has been a huge loss of life and property in the affected districts. According to official information, this change in the weather pattern in the districts has caused the maximum destruction in East Champaran, Gaya and Aurangabad districts. According to official information, 5 people have died in East Champaran alone due to thunder and lightning. Meanwhile, 4 people have lost their lives in Gaya district and 3 in Aurangabad. The situation was very serious in East Champaran, where a sudden storm and lightning strike in the afternoon created havoc within just three hours. Unfortunately, the disaster department in East Champaran had earlier issued a red alert for the East Champaran district police station area, which proved to be a real disaster.
