Bihar's Bharat Tiwari Encounter Case: Police Officers Face FIR Over Fatal Shooting

A major development has come to light in the famous Bharat Tiwari encounter case of Bhojpur, Bihar. An FIR has been registered in the case against Jagdishpur Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Shahpur police station chief and other policemen involved in the encounter at Shahpur police station. It is being told that this action has been taken on the basis of the questions raised about the encounter and the complaint of the family. The investigation of the case is already going on at different levels and now after the registration of the case against the police officers, the investigation has got a new turn. Significantly, after the death of Bharat Tiwari in the police encounter, the family and the villagers had questioned the action and demanded a fair investigation.
