BJP Candidates Flock to Ahmedabad Corporation Elections

AHMEDABAD: In the city BJP, a raft of candidates are in the fray. 2,637 have expressed their desire to contest for 192 seats in the corporation. 89 have filed their nominations in Thakkarbapanagar, the highest, while 16 have filed their nominations in Maktampura, the lowest. 242 have filed their nominations in various wards falling under the Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel's constituency. 50 have filed their nominations for 2 wards falling under the state president's constituency.
