BJP Dissolves District Organization in Datia After By-Election Defeat

After the crushing defeat in the Datia assembly by-election, the BJP has taken a big decision. The party has dissolved the entire district organization with immediate effect in view of the change in the organization. The party has abolished the district executive, divisional committees, morchas, cells, projects and all the units of various departments, including the district president Raghuvir Singh Kushwaha. Now the organization will be formed afresh in Datia. This decision has been taken after reviewing the by-election results. The action was taken on the basis of the report of the special committee formed on the instructions of BJP state president Hemant Khandelwal. A two-member committee was formed today (August 4). The party believes that a comprehensive reorganization is necessary to strengthen the organization and keep in mind the future election preparations. According to sources, the reasons for the defeat in the by-election were discussed in detail in a review meeting held at the residence of the Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in Bhopal on Tuesday (August 4). The state president, the election in-charge, and the chief minister were present in the meeting.
