BJP Faces Internal Turmoil Ahead of Jamnagar Municipal Elections

(By Mukund Badiyani) Jamnagar, તા.24: There is internal discontent in the city BJP ahead of the Jamnagar Municipal Corporation elections. Due to the massive changes made in ticket distribution, the word "Vakhar" has now become a strong political signal within the city BJP and is thus being mocked. The party has given a chance to a large number of new faces this time by sidelining old, loyal and senior workers who have been associated with the organization for years. This has led to a feeling among many workers that they have been "Vakhar" i.e. politically sidelined. The party has kept away not only adult workers, but also the family members of workers associated with the government or the organization. As a result, there is resentment among many workers who have worked hard in the party for years. But barring Ward No. 4, there has been no public rebellion, etc.
