BJP Files Complaint Against Congress Leaders After Clash During Protest March in Patna

During the protest march in the capital Patna on Wednesday (July 22, 2026), BJP and Congress workers got into a scuffle. Several people were injured on both sides. BJP has now filed a complaint against Congress leaders and workers on behalf of BJP in Pataliputra Police Station regarding this incident. There are 12 people named in it, including Bihar Congress in-charge Krishna Allavaru. District President (BJP, Patna Mahanagar) Roopnarayan Mehta has applied on behalf of Bihar BJP in the police station. He has said in his application that the incident has been carried out as a conspiracy. He has accused Bihar Congress in-charge Krishna Allavaru, Manish Kumar Yadav (former Students'Union President, Patna University), Amit Kumar Tunna (former MLA), Amar Azad, Prem Chandra Singh, Amar Prakash, Nitesh Singh, Narayan, Bhola Yadav, Abhishek Ranjan, Sashwat Shekhar and Shashank Shekhar of attacking others. After the incident, BJP national spokesperson and former Union Minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said that the opposition leader first attacked the Prime Minister's office and made Shah's residence in Patna and then attacked him.
