Rajkot, Dt. 31: The BJP is now gearing up for the battle for the 2026 elections to the Rajkot Municipal Corporation. The BJP's Shaktidham'Kamalam'office near Shital Park in the city will host a gathering of candidates for the next two days, Wednesday and Thursday. The party has announced the official time-table for the census process to select the candidates for all 18 wards of the four assemblies. The counting of the 12 wards on Wednesday will begin at 8 am on Wednesday, April 1. Workers and contenders from Ward No. 4, 5, 6 and 15 of Legislative Assembly-68, Ward No. 1, 2, 3 and 8 of Legislative Assembly-69 and Ward No. 7, 13, 14 and 17 of Legislative Assembly-70 will present themselves to the observers. There will be scenes of crowd and show of strength of the candidates at Kamalaman throughout the day on Thursday.
