Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad, who arrived in Saharanpur, UP, reacted sharply to the Ayodhya gift theft case. He had reached the MP-MLA court in connection with the Shabbirpur case hearing. In a media interaction after the appearance, he raised sharp questions on the BJP government. Chandrashekhar said that the money collected from people's faith in the name of Lord Shri Ram has been allegedly looted and an attempt is being made to save big people in this whole case. He alleged that agencies like ED, Income Tax and CBI should conduct a fair investigation if names are coming out at such a large scale. Chandrashekhar Azad said that earlier there were reports of looting of temples, but now there are allegations of alleged scam in the donations collected in the name of Lord Ram. He said that the BJP gained power in the name of Ram and now the same faith is being taken advantage of politically and financially. He questioned why the investigating agencies, who took prompt action in small cases, were silent on the alleged multi-crore scam. He said that if the agencies like ED, Income Tax and CBI were coming out at such a large scale, they could have changed the picture of Uttarakhand's development.
