BJP in Crisis: By-Election Sparks Mass Resignations and Protests in Madhya Pradesh

With the announcement of the by-election to the Datia assembly seat in Madhya Pradesh, such a volcano of discontent has erupted within the BJP, which has shaken the leadership from Bhopal to Delhi. Supporters of former Home Minister Narottam Mishra have become furious in protest against the nomination of former Divisional Organization Minister Ashutosh Tiwari. Shops have been closed in many places in Datia city, while angry workers have completely blocked the main highway, burning tires and shouting slogans. The biggest blow has been dealt to the organization. BJP district president Raghuvir Singh Kushwaha has sent his mass resignation to the party's state president Hemant Khandelwal. The letter clearly describes the decision of the central leadership as'one-sided'and an insult to the workers. Kushwaha wrote in the letter, "I, Raghuvir Singh Kushwaha, district president of Bharatiya Janata Party Datia, after talking to all my workers and office bearers, have decided that in the by-election to the Datia assembly by the party, the decision has been taken unilaterally.
