Seven states are going to the polls in India in 2027. In this regard, political parties have intensified their preparations. In this regard, an important meeting was held on Sunday at the party headquarters under the chairmanship of newly appointed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Nitin Navin. New office bearers of the party, party presidents of states and state in-charges participated in this meeting. The main purpose of this meeting was to prepare the party's strategy in view of the assembly elections to be held in 2027. A total of seven state assembly elections are going to be held next year, including Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Himachal Pradesh. The meeting emphasized on strengthening its outreach to the youth in particular and deepening the party's public relations at the grassroots level. Party leaders discussed in detail the preparations for the upcoming elections and organizational issues. Significantly, earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also visited the BJP headquarters and listened to all the 67 newly appointed national office bearers for five hours and gave them valuable suggestions and ideas during this long meeting.
