Gandhinagar: The battle for local body elections to 15 Municipal Corporations, 34 District Panchayats, 84 Municipalities and 260 Taluka Panchayats in Gujarat is now over. As the process of filling up forms by Bharatiya Janata Party candidates comes to an end today, the party has organized an aggressive campaign. Under the guidance of State President Jagdish Vishwakarma, a'Jan Seva Sankalp'programme will be held in all the 15 Municipal Corporations of the state tomorrow, April 12, at 9: 30 am, through which BJP candidates will formally launch the campaign. The presence of dignitaries in Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Vadodara: Under this programme, Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel will be present at the statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya at Kankaria in Ahmedabad. The program will be held near the multi-storey building on Race Course Ring Road in Rajkot. Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi and State Organization General Secretary Ratnakar will be present at Kirti Mandir near Kala Ghoda Circle in Vadodara to encourage the candidates.
