BJP Leader Calls for Shift from Gujarat-Centric Development Model

In India Today Tamil Nadu Round Table, former Tamil Nadu BJP president and founder of We The Leaders, K. Annamalai, criticised the Gujarat-centric approach to development. He believes that investments by big companies, new technology projects, and big national or international events should not be concentrated in one state, but should benefit other states in the country. Annamalai also said that the BJP's decision-making process is increasingly becoming "Delhi-centric," and he spoke of giving more power to state-level leaders. "I think the BJP's decisions are becoming Delhi-centric, which is very unfortunate, it has to change." He said that state-level leaders should be given more power to take decisions and implement them.
