BJP Leader Shehzad Poonawalla Resigns Again, Urges Party to Accept His Quit Notice

BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla has once again submitted his resignation from all party posts and urged the party to accept it, as his previous resignation was rejected. In a post on X, Poonawalla said that he has once again submitted his resignation letter to BJP President Nitin Nabin and requested that it be accepted. He expressed his gratitude to the BJP and its senior leaders Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, JP Nadda, and BL Santhosh for their guidance and support. Poonawalla said that he will always be grateful for the opportunities and platform given to him by the BJP and the wider Sangh Parivar. He added, "It would not have been possible for a story like mine (a young, Pasmanda Muslim, who does not come from a political family) to happen in any other country and any other party." Poonawalla had earlier offered to resign from all party posts but the BJP did not accept it.
