BJP Leaders Defend Demolition of TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee's Office in West Bengal

Reacting to the bulldozing of TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee's office in Bengal's Amtala in West Bengal's Kolkata, Union Minister and BJP MP Sukanta Majumdar has said that if it was an illegal construction, it should be demolished. No illegal structure should remain standing. He said that only legal construction should remain. Abhishek Banerjee considered himself a prince whenever TMC was in power. So he did what he wanted. He built an office. There was no proper plan. Land ownership is disputed. Apart from Sukanta Majumdar, BJP President Samik Bhattacharya said that the government is demolishing illegal constructions. The government has taken these decisions only after examining all the documents. If Abhishek Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee's office can be demolished, then he can go to the court.
