The state leadership has swung into action to defuse the infighting in the BJP ahead of the Datia assembly by-election. On Saturday night, Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Deora arrived in Datia. His main objective is to pacify the disgruntled workers, maintain unity in the organization and end the discontent within the party before the elections. After reaching Datia, Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Deora first reached the famous Pitambara Peeth. He visited Maa Baglamukhi and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state. However, the picture that came out during his visit raised many questions about the internal situation of the BJP. Usually, the entire district organization of the party is present on the visit of a deputy chief minister, but this time only district president Raghubir Kushwaha, general secretary Bhure Choudhary, former district president Surendra Budholiya and a few selected workers were seen at the reception. The absence of many big leaders and workers clearly exposed the discontent in the organization.
