BJP Leads in West Bengal Elections; Suspended TMC Leader Wins Two Seats

Kolkata: The BJP seems to be heading for a tsunami in West Bengal. BJP candidates are leading in 195 seats out of 293 seats in the state. The country's attention was only on this election result of West Bengal. The BJP seems to have given a big jolt to Mamata Banerjee. Another interesting trend was seen in this election result. Humayun Kabir, a Muslim leader who came into the limelight by announcing the construction of Babri Masjid in Bengal, was contesting on 2 seats. Counting of votes for both these seats is underway. The BJP will form the government in West Bengal; Humayun Kabir seems to be leading on both seats along with Mamata Banerjee in'Khela Hobe '. Humayun Kabir was a TMC leader for a few months. But he parted his ways before the Babri elections. Humayun Kabir created a stir in politics by announcing the construction of Babri Masjid in Bengal. Then the TMC took action and suspended him. Humayun Kabir was an MLA from Bharatpur. On the day of Babri demolition, Humayun Kabir had also announced the construction of a mosque in Beldabad.
