BJP Loses Kerala Vice-President Amid Ideological Differences

The big news this time is coming from Kerala, where the BJP has suffered a major setback in the state. Here, actor S. Devan announced his resignation from the post of vice-president of Kerala BJP and the primary membership of the party during a program held at Kanachikulangara Devi Temple on Sunday. He made this announcement while concluding his speech at the temple program. At this event, Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan and BJP leader B. Radhakrishna Menon were also present. While resigning from the post of BJP state vice-president, Devan said, "The politics that I believe in is based on the ideals, principles and programs of Sree Narayana Guru. In the last 5 years after joining BJP in Kerala, I have realized that I could not follow that path. I felt that my political thinking was different, and I was sure of it. I have written my resignation and am leaving the post of vice-president as well as the primary membership of Bharatiya Janata Party." Devan addressed the gathering after resigning from the post.
