BJP Morale Boosted by Rajya Sabha Victory, Eyes Assembly Elections

The victory of Parimal Nathwani in the Rajya Sabha has boosted the morale of the BJP after the defeat in the assembly elections and the mediocre performance in the municipal elections. Parimal Nathwani was an independent candidate but the BJP had given full strength for his victory. The BJP took this victory as a semi-final before the upcoming assembly elections and with the victory of Parimal Nathwani, slogans of Jai Shri Ram were chanted from the assembly to the BJP office. The BJP-supported candidate with 24 members in the assembly got 28 valid votes while two votes were invalid. BJP state president Aditya Sahu said that this winning streak in the Rajya Sabha will continue now. He also said that the workers will come forward to increase the trust of the people in the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In such a situation, the hope of good days is visible to the BJP workers. Now the BJP will run programs in the districts to surround the state government on different issues. The defeat of the Congress candidate in the Rajya Sabha elections has led to some disputes with the ruling parties.
