BJP Parliamentary Board Selects Candidates for Local Body Elections in Gujarat

(By Vijay Vasani) Gandhinagar, Dt. 8: A meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Board started yesterday morning at the Chief Minister's residence to select candidates for the local body elections is still going on, in which some names will be announced by the evening. According to the information received in this regard, in the first phase, the list of candidates for Taluka Panchayat, Municipality and Zilla Panchayat will be announced, especially the list of undisputed candidates will be released by this evening. According to sources, the names of the candidates for the Municipal Corporation, whose names are yet to be approved, will be announced tomorrow or a day later.
