BJP Protests Against Congress After Clash in Patna, Accuses Party of Promoting Violence

After the clash between Congress and BJP workers in Patna, the rhetoric in Bihar politics has intensified. Bharatiya Janata Party workers took to the streets in Darbhanga to protest against this incident. BJP workers took out a protest march with party flags at Laheriasarai Tower Chowk and shouted slogans against Congress and Rahul Gandhi. A large number of BJP workers were present during the protest. They condemned the Patna incident, calling it against democratic values. The political atmosphere in the area remained tense for some time during the protest. BJP leaders alleged that their workers were subjected to violence in Patna. However, Congress'reaction to these allegations has not been forthcoming. Darbhanga BJP district president Aditya Narayan Manna launched a scathing attack on Congress during the protest. He alleged that unarmed BJP workers were pelted with stones in Patna. He said that this is "Pakistan model" of stone-pelting and alleged that Congress people are influenced by Pakistan leaders and will not tolerate such incidents in Bihar. Aditya Narayan Manna also said that such incidents will not be tolerated in Bihar.
