BJP Releases Candidate List for Panchayat Elections in Anand District

Anand: The Bharatiya Janata Party Gujarat today released the detailed list of candidates for the Panchayat elections in Anand district. The names have been approved after the discussion held in the meeting of the State Election Committee held under the chairmanship of State President Jagdish Vishwakarma on 10 April 2026 at'Shri Kamalam ', Gandhinagar. The list also includes the names of candidates for the 40 seats of Zila Panchayat and 40 seats of Anand, Umreth, Khambhat, Tarapur, Sojitra, Petlad and Borsad Taluka Panchayats. The candidates announced for the 40 seats of Anand Zila Panchayat are: 1. Alarsa: Ashokkumar Jaswantsinh Mahida, 2. Asodara: Dineshbhai Ranchhodbhai Padhiyar, 3.
