(By Kishora Rathod) Dhoraji, Dt. 09: BJP retains two Zila Panchayat seats in Dhoraji Taluka. BJP retains Dhoraji Taluka Panchayat. BJP's Nitaben Rasikbhai Chavda declared elected unopposed from Bhadajalia seat in Dhoraji Taluka Panchayat elections for 16 seats. Dhoraji Taluka Panchayat elections were held for 15 seats. In a three-way fight between BJP, Congress, and AAP in which BJP retained power by winning 11 seats. Congress captured 3 seats of Chhadavadar, Vadodar, Vegdi Gaon. Congress lost four Taluka Panchayat seats by a narrow margin of votes. Jamnawad lost by 6 votes, Patanwav lost by 15 votes, Badi Marad-2 lost by 27 votes, and Chhoni Parbadi Congress lost by 62 votes. AAP opened its account in Patanwav, in which AAP stood fourth, followed by Congress and Independents.
