BJP Steps Up Preparations to Return to Power in Uttar Pradesh

The Bharatiya Janata Party has stepped up preparations to return to power for the third consecutive term in Uttar Pradesh. While big leaders have started visiting the state, the party has also started implementing micro-management strategies at the ground level. The BJP is focusing on 61 assembly seats where it has not been able to register victory for the last three elections. Special focus is being given to these seats from booth management to reaching out to beneficiaries and understanding the local equation. According to sources, under the leadership of the new state president Pankaj Chaudhary, the party is preparing a detailed report card of these seats. It will analyze the 2012, 2017 and 2022 assembly elections. The party will try to understand which booths it was weak, which social equations were affected and in which areas the opposition made a dent. The BJP's strategy is clear - to understand the reasons for the defeat and prepare a new winning strategy on the same basis. The party's strategy is not limited to paper planning, but is also preparing to activate the organization at the ground level.
