BJP Wins Big in West Bengal and Assam, TMC Suffers Crushing Defeat

New Delhi: The results of the four states of West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and one union territory of Puducherry so far show a clear victory for the BJP in West Bengal, Assam and the union territory of Puducherry. While in Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy Vijay's party TVK and the Congress-backed UDF are likely to form the government in Kerala. In West Bengal, the ruling party TMC has suffered a crushing defeat. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself has lost by 15,114 votes in Bhabanipur. BJP's Suvendu Adhikari has won. Out of a total of 293 seats, the BJP has won 199 seats and is leading in 08 seats. TMC has won 69 seats and is leading in 11 seats. Congress has won 2 seats. Left has won 1 seat and others have won 3 seats. In Assam, the BJP-led NDA has won 91 seats and is leading in one seat. Congress has won 20 seats and is leading in one seat. AIUDF has won two seats while others have won 11 seats.
