BJP Wins Landslide Victory in Rajasthan's Municipal Body Elections

The results of the elections for the post of heads of municipal bodies in Rajasthan were announced on Monday (September 21). In this election, the BJP has got a landslide victory. The results of 301 bodies out of a total of 309 have been declared. Out of the 301 bodies declared, the BJP has won 199 seats. While 94 candidates of the Congress party became the head of the bodies. In 16 bodies, other candidates have won, including the Aam Aadmi Party. In 7 municipal corporations, 6 mayors of the BJP have become mayors while 1 has become the mayor of the Congress. The response of the Cockroach Janata Party came to these election results. The Cockroach Janata Party said in an X post, "After the kind of pictures that have come out in the Rajasthan civic body president elections today, I think that the elections in the country should be stopped now. When anyone is getting votes, when the government has to be formed, then what is the need for elections?"
