BJP Wins Majority in Tankara Taluk Panchayat Elections

(By Jayesh Bhattasana) Tankara, તા.29: With the announcement of the results of the general elections to the Tankara Taluk Panchayat, political heat has been seen. The Bharatiya Janata Party has assumed power with a clear majority in the elections held for a total of 16 seats in the Tankara Taluk Panchayat. According to the election results, out of 16 seats, the BJP has won 11 seats, while the Congress has been reduced to only 5 seats. With this victory, the BJP has taken a firm hold on the Tankara Taluk Panchayat. BJP workers are showing great enthusiasm and celebrating the victory with gulal. There was a direct fight between the BJP and the Congress in the Tankara seat. However, the voters trusted the development works and organizational strength of the BJP and cast their lotus in 11 seats. On the other hand, the Congress has registered its presence as an opposition party. Now that the BJP has come to power with a clear majority, the Taluk Panchayat President and Vice President will be elected in the coming days.
